Two bongs went up in smoke
On Dec.20, Seattle Police officers responded to a burglary at a head shop located on the 8000 block of 15th Avenue Northwest. The owner told officers that he arrived that morning and found a large chunk of concrete had been hurled through a front window. Police were surprised because the store resides on a busy arterial street, and the suspect took a big risk bashing out a front window. The fiend was desperate and took two large bongs from the display case. The owner could not confirm if there were other items taken. Police dusted for fingerprints but found none.
Family pearls and coin jar taken

The complainants told officers that they left their home early that morning and had locked the doors. When they returned that evening they found their home had been ransacked. They noticed that their bedroom had things missing including a pickle jar containing hundreds of dollars in change. Later they found a pearl necklace and other jewelry had been taken. They noticed a window in their son’s room had been opened and believe that that is where the suspect made entry. Officers found no fingerprints at the scene. The value lost is estimated to be over $1,000.
