Ballard took home the second place trophy from this year's Class 3A state boys soccer championships held at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.
The Beavers took a narrow 1-0 loss to the Lincoln Lynx of Seattle Saturday, after downing Lakeside, 1-0, in a Friday semifinal.
Lincoln also won the 3A baseball championship Saturday.
Also like baseball, three of the four semifinalists were from the Metro League.
Coach Clark Murray's soccer team featured 17 seniors and five juniors.
Murray was assisted by Chris Leach, Michael Kowalchuk and Mitch Furglyas.
Players for the Beavers were Haddon Meunch, Natan Adamasu, Lucas Sussman, Jacob Watson, Karel Van Dorn, Henry Blue, Gray LaVasseur, Finley McGehee, Elijah Post, Paco Jones, Maxwell Goldstein, Carson Ruegamer, Finn Lepper, James Sander, Felix Mako, Thomas Cousins, Orlando Luce, Eduardo Lavander,
Oliver Tracy, Connor Furglyas, Cole Frech and Jack Rollins.
Meunch, Lepper, Mako, Frech and Rollins are juniors and the rest are seniors.
