Fire victims need your help; Fireworks destroyed her home in July 4 apartment fire
Photos attached to the refrigerator In Floreen Nair's apartment were destroyed along with the rest of her possessions in a fireworks caused fire on the fourth of July.
The Red Cross arranged for she and her son to live in a motel in Kent but it's only temporary.
Nair said, "I moved to West Seattle last year in March. I’m disabled due to an auto accident. I have a 10yr old son. Originally I’m from Fiji. I’m a single mom trying to raise my son. I lost everything in the fire and I’m turning 50 on July 27th so by now I should have been more stable. But now I’m restarting my life all over again. I have been living in USA since 1991.
This is the 2nd time I've been homeless. In 2008 I was driving home from a job when a drunk driver drive into my car and I ended up in the hospital for months so when I got out i lost everything and had to start my life from scratch! Now I’m doing it again but this time I have a child so I am desperately trying to get back to my feet.
I have a small dog also since she was 8wks old and now she's almost 3. I just want to have a home very soon so my family can be safe and stable."
She's reached out to the West Seattle Food Bank and Helpline and they are providing some assistance but she needs a place to live and a bit more financial assistance.
May Florence and her family be blessed and all of their needs met ??❤️
