Womens defense seminar slated

The Umibushi Self-Defense Academy will be conducting a womens self defense seminar from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, Sept. 15.
The cost is only $20 payable to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund which helps out our wounded Marines and their families.
The academy's address is 22760 Marine View Drive in Des Moines, and it is directly below the Yardarm Pub & Grill.

JFK grad contributes in win

Husky book released
Husky Stadium is known for its deafening crowd volume, iconic architecture and view of Mount Rainier. Golden helmets glint in the sun. Fans flock to the games by boat and tailgate on the docks. Zebarth back for Bruins
Brandon Zebarth (Sr., Des Moines, Wash. / Seattle Christian HS) returns to the midfield for the George Fox University Bruins men's soccer team.
