The City has finished demolishing the old Sunny Terrace Elementary
School, 1010 S. 1246th St., to make way for the Northeast Revelopment Area (NERA) project. The City is partnering with the Port of Seattle to transform the area north of the Sea-Tac Airport third runway to commercial and light-industrial uses com-patible with the airport. A portion of the former school site will be used for a stormwater infiltration facility that will serve the development.
