All-Star tournaments to get underway

District 7 all-star Little League baseball tournaments will get underway this weekend at the PacWest complex between Burien and SeaTac off Des Moines Way South.
West Seattle opens the eight-team Minors tournament by playing Renton at 6 p.m. Friday and PacWest plays South Highline National at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the winners meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Southwest of White Center waits until 3 p.m. Saturday for its opener and Rainier District plays South Highline American at 6 p.m. Saturday, with the winners playing at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The winners bracket final is at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 4 and the loser's bracket final at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 5.
Championship action is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, July 6 with the if-necessary game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.
The age 10/11 tournament starts with Seattle Central playing Renton at 6 p.m. Friday, with the winner meeting Rainier District at 12 p.m. Saturday.

The winners bracket final is at 6 p.m. Friday, July 3 with the loser's bracket final at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 5. The championship starts at 6 p.m. Monday, July 6 with the if-necessary game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.
The Majors age 11/12 tournament begins Saturday, with PacWest playing Renton at 3 p.m. and West Seattle meeting South Highline National at 6 p.m.
The winners bracket final is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4 with the losers bracket final at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5. The championship is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 and the if-necessary game for 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9.
In the Intermediate tournament with 70-foot basepaths and a pitching mound 50 feet away from home plate, Southwest plays South Highline American at 6 p.m. Friday and West Seattle plays South Highline National at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The winners meet in the winners bracket final at 4 p.m. Sunday, with the losers bracket final at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The championship is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4 with the if-necessary game to follow at 12 p.m.
South Highline National and PacWest are the only teams in the Juniors age 13-14 tournament.
They first meet at 12 p.m. Saturday, then play again at 1 p.m. Sunday. If the teams split the first two games, they meet again to decide the champion at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Various losers bracket games are taking place in the other tournaments each week night next week.
All of the tournaments are double-elimination, with the champions advancing to state tournaments in July.
