Football
Friday is the annual "Huling Bowl" at the Southwest Athletic Complex, where Chief Sealth will do battle against crosstown rival West Seattle at 7 p.m.
Highline Memorial Stadium hosts a double-header the same day, with Federal Way playing Mount Rainier at 5 p.m. ahead of an 8 p.m. contest between Highline and Hazen.
Also on Friday, Foster will play a 7 p.m. game against Lindbergh at Renton Stadium as Seattle Lutheran travels to Rainier Christian.
Volleyball
Chief Sealth is at home playing Ballard at 7 p.m. Wednesday of this week as West Seattle entertains Cleveland.
Seattle Christian travels to Vashon Island for 5:45 p.m. action.
Seattle Lutheran plays a 6 p.m. contest against Christian Faith at the Ron Sandwith gymnasium in Federal Way on Thursday as Shorewood Christian entertains Crosspoint at the old Glacier High School.
In Seamount League action at 7 p.m. Highline is at Tyee, Renton at Kennedy, Evergreen at Lindbergh and Foster at Hazen.
Tyee hosts Sammamish in a 7 p.m. non-league match Friday and Mount Rainier goes to Kentridge at 7:15 p.m.
West Seattle will visit Chief Sealth at 7 p.m. Monday, with Shorewood Christian playing Christian Faith at Ron Sandwith at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Seattle Lutheran going to Crosspoint at 6:15 p.m.
Evergreen visits Foster at 7 p.m. as Highline hosts Hazen and Kennedy entertains Lindbergh.
Mount Rainier hosts Todd Beamer at 7:15 p.m.
Girls soccer
Seattle Christian hosts Bellevue Christian at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Valley Ridge as Mount Rainier travels to Federal Way Memorial Field to play Thomas Jefferson.
West Seattle gets a 3:30 p.m. visit from Ingraham at Hiawatha and Seattle Lutheran is at home playing Mount Rainier Lutheran.
Chief Sealth hosts Seattle Prep at 4 p.m. that day as Kennedy travels to Renton, with Evergreen home against Lindbergh at 7 p.m.
Highline takes on Tyee at 7:30 p.m. as Foster hosts Hazen.
Seattle Christian visits Chief Sealth at 4 p.m. Monday at the SWAC, then Chief Sealth visits Eastside Catholic and West Seattle goes to Garfield at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Foster plays Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley Ridge as Seattle Lutheran hosts Concrete and Seattle Christian visits Cascade Christian.
Tyee battles Renton at 5 p.m. at Valley Ridge and Highline goes to Hazen at 5:30 p.m.
Federal Way visits Mount Rainier at Highline Memorial at 7:30 p.m. that day as Kennedy goes to Lindbergh.
Cross country
Mount Rainier goes to Puyallup for the South Puget Sound League meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and West Seattle and Chief Sealth visit Nathan Hale at Lower Woodland with the girls running at 3:40 p.m. and the boys at 4:20 p.m.
Shorewood Christian is involved in SeaTac League action at Auburn Adventist Thursday with races starting at 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Seattle Christian races at 4 p.m. Friday at Kelsey Creek Park and Evergreen hosts the Seamount League meet at 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Boys tennis
Foster plays a 3:30 p.m. match at Highline on Wednesday, then Highline turns around to visit Lindbergh at the same time Thursday.
Foster goes to Renton at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Golf
West Seattle plays O'Dea and Holy Names at 3 p.m. Wednesday on the West Seattle course and Chief Sealth meets Eastside Catholic at Jefferson Park at the same time.
West Seattle entertains Ingraham at 3 p.m. Thursday and Kennedy is at home against Evergreen/Highline/Tyee at 3:15 p.m. at Glen Acres.
Chief Sealth hosts Garfield at 3 p.m. Friday.
Girls swimming
Kennedy Catholic and Foster meet at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Foster pool they share and Evergreen/Highline/Tyee takes on Hazen at the same time at Evergreen.
West Seattle/Chief Sealth is at home at the SWAC pool facing Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Pros
Seahawks
Seattle will try to get back on the winning track when it hosts the Carolina Panthers at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink.
Channel 13 will televise the game live and it can be heard on 710 AM radio.
Sounders
Seattle goes to Houston for 2 p.m. action Sunday that will be carried on the ESPN cable television network.
Thunderbirds
Seattle will be at home at the Showare Center in Kent playing Kamloops in a 7:35 p.m. Western Hockey League match Friday before entertaining Victoria at 7:05 p.m. Sunday.
Thunderbirds action is carried on 1090 AM.
Colleges
Huskies
The University of Washington hosts the Oregon Ducks for a 7:30 p.m. game at Husky Stadium this Saturday that can be heard on 1000 AM.
Cougars
Washington State University is at home in Pullman playing Oregon State University at 1 p.m. Saturday on the Pac-12 network.
