A fourteen year old boy was shot near 136th and Ambaum on Tuesday evening.
Around 10:30 p.m. deputies from the King County Sheriff responded to a report of shots fired near a coin operated laundry. The teen was found to have been shot twice, both bullets in the back. Two people seen running from the area were not found . The Sheriff attempted a K-9 track but was unsuccessful.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if this was gang activity or if he was targeted by the shooter who remains at large.
