Highline finished 14th as a team on the girls side to highlight area performances at the state cross country meet held Saturday at the Sun Willows golf course in Pasco.
The Pirates had a score of 342 points in the 2A competition after qualifying as a unit out of the West Central District meet held the week before.
Makenna Cowan led Highline by taking 63rd place individually in a time of 20 minutes, 31.70 seconds.
Teammate Jessica Bedolla-Mendoza was 76th in 20:46.40 ahead of Yesinia Bedolla-Mendoza in 20:46.60.
Anita Chung took 141st in 22:10.60 with Dru Roberts 153rd in 23:10.10, Ashleigh Bell 158th in 25:02.00 and Savannah Taylor 160th in 26:00.20.
For Foster in the same race individually, Ana Rios came in 103rd in 21:16.80, Donna Te 110th in 21:23.00 and Nancy Jiminez 122nd in 21:40.00.
Seattle Christian had Katherine Anderson take 37th in the 1A girls race in 20:13.40 with Sage Gibson 67th in 20:59.50 and Jennifer Hoag 133rd in 22:45.70.
For Mount Rainier in the 4A girls race, Taylor Johnson was 58th in 19:27.90 with Marissa Tweedy of Kennedy Catholic 65th in 19:33.80.
Erik Harang of Mount Rainier took 75th in the 4A boys race in 16:27.80.
For Seattle Lutheran in the 1B and 2B boys race, Xavius Johnson placed 99th in 18:50.20 and Leo Cacharo 138th in 20:03.70.
