A Cambodian refugee whose American college experience shaped his life and career has been named interim vice president at Highline College. Dr. Saovra “Sy” Ear will oversee the college’s Student Services division beginning Nov. 26.

A 26 year old man was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant around 7pm on Monday night, and died. The shooting occurred in the 10000 block of 1st Ave SW.
