Car accident closes down Delridge Way S.W. and S.W. Holden St.

At about 11:45 pm, Seattle Fire was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Delridge Way S.W. and S.W. Holden St. on June 17.
According to family members who heard the crash, “Our uncle just left his parents house on 16th Ave S.W. and was heading home going Southbound on Delridge Way S.W. when a truck ran the light at S.W. Holden St. and collided into him. He just had recent shoulder surgery and were thankful that he wasn't seriously injured."
The driver of the car that was hit by the truck was taken to Harborview Medical Center by AMR to be examined with unknown injuries.”
Speed or alcohol involvement has not been determined.
