Rainbow Bingo
What: Fun, bingo games, great food, beverages, general frivolity and lovely prizes. The menu will include wonderful items such as Crab Cakes, Polish Sausages, Cob Salads, and more. Come at 6pm for food and beverages. Bingo starts at 7pm. What songs will Sylvia perform for our pleasure?

St. Alphonsus Parish School presents The Music Man, Jr.
What: Students and parent volunteers have worked tirelessly to put together another amazing show. If you haven’t yet been to a St. Al’s Spring Musical, you will be blown away by the caliber of talent and the dedication of everyone involved to bring such a professional-grade performance to the community, especially one funded primarily by donations.

What: Ghost Light Theatricals’ production of Eugene O’Neill’s 1922 expressionist play, The Hairy Ape, combines abstract movement, choreographed stage violence, shadow work, and performance art to tell the story of a brutish, unthinking, middle-aged laborer known as Yank.

Coffee cupping with Tony's Coffee
What: At this week's coffee cupping, which is an event where you can learn all the gnitty-gritty details of selecting good coffees (and smell and drink them), Tony's Coffee will be featuring coffee from newly opened Ballard-based Slate Coffee Roasters.

Willy Wonka Jr. by Loyal Heights Elementary
What: The entire student body was invited to participate and all who auditioned were cast in the show, resulting in a cast of 181 children ages five to eleven, 45% of our student body, for a script that calls for 30! We also have a team of over 90 parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, & members of the Ballard community volunteering over 600 hours making sets, sewing costumes, and other "behind the scenes" tasks. Our 193 member cast guarantees to delight the sweet tooth.
