Evergreen High School of White Center took a 78-59 beating at the hands of Mount Rainier on Monday.
Evergreen is a 2A member of the Seamount League and Mount Rainier a member of the Class 4A South Puget Sound League, but the two teams were longtime rivals when the Seamount League was all 3A.
Kentwood 70, Foster 31
Class 2A Foster went up against the 4A Kentwood Conquerors on Monday -- and lost.

Seattle Christian felled Foster in a showdown of two Sea-Tac area teams this last Tuesday. SCS is a Class 1A team and Foster is 2A.

Kennedy Catholic came away with a 10-point win in its non-league, All-Catholic opener on Tuesday.

Seattle Christian went down to a 52-40 defeat at the hands of Steilacoom this past Tuesday.

Tyee triumphed by 10 points in a road game on Wednesday.
Lakes 77, Evergreen 41
Evergreen journeyed to Lakewood to play the Lakes Lancers this past Wednesday and absorbed a lopsided loss.
Decatur 51, Highline 47
Highline took a close loss to Decatur High School of Federal Way in a non-league game on Wednesday. Decatur is a member of the SPSL's 3A Division and Highline is a 3A team in the mixed 2A/3A Seamount League.

Mount Rainier worked three overtimes to nip Auburn in its South Puget Sound League 4A opener played in the Trojans' own gym Thursday.
Girls basketball
Mount Rainier 68, Auburn 12
Mount Rainier left no doubt as it clobbered the Trojans to open SPSL action Thursday.
Ageelah Williams led the Rams with 15 points and Emily Fiso added 12.
The Lady Rams took a 29-2 lead by the end of the first quarter.
