Seahawks
It's Super Bowl time for the Seattle Seahawks!
After earning their way with a wild 23-17 National Football Conference championship win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Seahawks will play the American Football Conference champion Denver Broncos in the Big Game with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, Feb. 2.
The action takes place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and will be shown on KCPQ-TV Channel 13.
Thunderbirds
The Seattle Thunderbirds will host Moose Jaw for 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League action at Showare Center in Kent on Tuesday before visiting the Tri-City Americans at the same time Friday.
Then it's back to Showare to play the Everett Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and the Kelowna Rockets at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.
Colleges
Men's basketball
The University of Washington Huskies will host Oregon for an 8 p.m. game Thursday before entertaining Oregon State at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday's game will be shown on Fox Sports 1 and Saturday's on the Pac-12 network.
Washington State University, meanwhile, will be at home in Pullman playing Oregon State at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Oregon at 4 p.m. Sunday in games carried on Pac-12.
Seattle University is at Grand Canyon for a 6 p.m. game Saturday and Gonzaga goes to San Diego at 7 p.m. Thursday and Brigham Young University at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday's Gonzaga game can be seen on ESPNU and Saturday's on ESPN2.
Seattle Pacific University is at Montana State in Billings for a 6:30 p.m. game Saturday.
Women's basketball
Friday the University of Washington women's basketball team will visit Oregon State University for a 6 p.m. game Friday and drop in on Oregon for a 12 p.m. game Sunday, with both games on the Pac-12 network.
The Washington State University Cougars are at Oregon at 7 p.m. Friday and at Oregon State at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Gonzaga at Loyola Marymount at 7 p.m. Thursday and at Pepperdine at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Seattle University will host Grand Canyon at 4 p.m. Saturday, with Seattle Pacific University entertaining Western Oregon at 7 p.m. Thursday and Saint Martin's University of Lacey at 7 p.m. Saturday.
High schools
Boys basketball
Foster visits Tyee for a 7 p.m. game Wednesday as Evergreen hosts Renton and Kennedy entertains Lindbergh. Highline visits Hazen at the same time.
Friday's schedule has Kennedy at Foster, Tyee at Highline and Evergreen at Lindbergh for 7:45 p.m. games.
Girls basketball
Tyee travels to Foster for 7 p.m. action Wednesday, with Highline hosting Hazen, Kennedy visiting Lindbergh and Evergreen going to Renton at the same time.
In 6:15 p.m. games Friday, Kennedy will be at Foster, Tyee at Highline and Evergreen at Lindbergh.
Monday Kennedy will host Lindbergh and Lakewood visits Evergreen at 7 p.m.
Gymnastics
Kennedy hosts Tyee and Lindbergh for a 7 p.m. meet Tuesday as Highline entertains Evergreen and Hazen.
Wrestling
Evergreen/Tyee goes to Highline for a 7 p.m. match Thursday as Kennedy travels to Lindbergh.
Highline will participate in the Lakes End of Days Tournament that starts at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Swimming
Hazen is at the Evergreen pool taking on Evergreen/Tyee/Highline in a 3 p.m. meet Thursday as Kennedy travels to Lindbergh.
