Burien- Last night just after 9 PM Burien Police responded to a car/motorcycle collision in the 400 block of SW 156th St.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

It’s believed that alcohol was involved, and after being treated at Highline Hospital the driver of the car was booked into jail for investigation of vehicular homicide.

The motorcyclist is a 40 year old male, believed to be a Tukwila resident.
A second motorcyclist traveling behind the first motorcycle suffered minor injuries from attempting to avoid the first collision.

Detectives from the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and will be conducting the investigation.
