People were in the dark on Thanksgiving night east of 16th SW and primarily south of 102nd SW. and in Burien down on Three Tree Point and up into Burien along Maplewid Drive and 152nd SW.

The White Center portion of the power outage Thanksgiving night was dealt with in under an hour but the Burien portion will take longer. The cause was found to be a tree that took down power lines. No time of restoration was announced but a crew has been dispatched.

A power outage put 3500 customers in the dark Thanksgiving night. There were two outages actually with the first primarily stretching from 16th Ave SW east to Hwy 509 and south to 122nd SW. A second outage hit Burien with Three Tree Point affected, extending up along Maplewild Drive and up to 152nd SW.
The outage began at 8:37pm.
The cause was not clear and no time of restoration was determined.
