Pros
Mariners
Seattle wraps up its three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday of this week, hosting them for a 12:40 p.m. game at Safeco Field.
The Mariners will then take Thursday off to go on the road to Boston for three games against the Red Sox over the weekend.
Friday and Saturday action starts at 4:10 p.m. followed by a 10:35 a.m. game Sunday.
From there it's on to Texas for 5:05 p.m. action Monday and Tuesday against the Rangers.
Mariners games can be seen on the ROOT Sports cable television network and heard on 710 AM radio.
Seahawks
Seattle kicks off its preseason Friday, hosting the Denver Broncos for a 7 p.m. game at CenturyLink Field.
It will be a rematch of the Super Bowl two seasons ago that the Seahawks won.
Seattle action is carried on 710 AM.
Sounders
The Sounders will entertain Orlando City for a 2 p.m. men's professional soccer match at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.
ESPN 2 cable television is set to carry the action live and the game can also be heard on 97.3 FM and 1360 AM.
Rainiers
Tacoma will be at home at Cheney Stadium playing Sacramento in an 11:35 a.m. game Wednesday and the Rivercats will stay in town for 7:05 p.m. action Thursday and Friday.
The Rainiers then go on the road to Oklahoma City for 5:05 p.m. action Saturday before playing a 4:05 p.m. game Sunday and 5:05 p.m. games Monday and Tuesday.
Rainiers games can be seen on MiLB cable and heard on 850 AM.
Reign
Seattle is at home facing the Houston Dash in a 7 p.m. women's professional soccer match on the Moda Pitch at Seattle Memorial Stadium on Wednesday.
Storm
The Seattle Women's National Basketball Association team is in Phoenix for a 7 p.m. game Wednesday before coming home to KeyArena to play Chicago at the same time Friday.
The Storm will then entertain San Antonio in a 6 p.m. game Sunday.
The NBA cable network carries Storm games live.
High schools
Practices
High school football practices across the state will get underway Wednesday, Aug. 19 this year, with the rest of the fall sports springing into action Monday, Aug. 24.
