Chief Sealth stayed alive in the Metro League tournament with Thursday's win and will now meet crosstown rival West Seattle at 7 p.m. Saturday in West Seattle.

Cleveland edged the Wildcats Thursday to drop them into Saturday's game against Chief Sealth.

Holy Names 60, Chief Sealth 45
Chief Sealth was eliminated with Thursday's Metro League tournament loss.
River Ridge 61, Foster 30
Foster fell to River Ridge on Thursday and now faces Steilacoom in a 1:45 p.m. Saturday game at Curtis High School in University Place in Tacoma.
Liberty 75, Tyee 45
Tyee is set to play Fife at 3 p.m. Saturday, also at Curtis High School, following Thursday's loss to Liberty.
Lincoln 54, Kennedy 31
Kennedy took a loss in 3A West Central District tournament action Thursday and now faces a 12 p.m. Saturday game against Shelton at Clover Park High School in Lakewood.

Girls basketball
West Seattle 53, Roosevelt 39
After receiving a first round bye in the Metro League tournament as the regular season champion the Wildcats opened with a win over Roosevelt at Nathan Hale on Wednesday.
West Seattle now carries a 21-0 overall record into a 5:45 p.m. Friday game against Blanchet at Ingraham.
Rainier Beach 44, Chief Sealth 41
The Lady Seahawks were edged by Rainier Beach on Wednesday.

Rainier Beach 67, West Seattle 57
Rainier Beach beat the Wildcats by 10 on Wednesday.
Franklin 85, Chief Sealth 45
Chief Sealth took a beating at the hands of the Quakers on Wednesday.
Kennedy 70, Kelso 42
Kennedy Catholic stayed in the winner's bracket of the West Central District 3A tournament with Wednesday's win.
The Lancers now play Wilson at 6 p.m. Friday at Clover Park.
White River 74, Highline 62
Highline fell into a 7:45 p.m. Friday game against Washington at Sumner High School with Wednesday's loss.
Liberty 74, Tyee 40
Wednesday's loss to Liberty dropped the Totems into 6 p.m. Friday action against Olympic.

Chief Sealth edged the Roughriders in their tournament opener Tuesday.
