Bellevue 58, West Seattle 50
The Wildcats went up against a tough Bellevue team Thursday and took an eight-point loss in Sea-King District 2 tournament action at Bellevue College.
The loss was only the second of the year for West Seattle. whose overall record fell to 22-2.
West Seattle advances to play Mercer Island for the district's No. 3 and No. 4 berths to state at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, also at Bellevue College.
The Wildcats will then advance to state regional action at a location to be announced next week, playing for a berth into the state final eight tournament in the Tacoma Dome the following week.
Neah Bay 43, Seattle Lutheran 35
Seattle Lutheran lost a low-scoring game to Neah Bay at Evergreen Lutheran High School in Puyallup on Thursday, dropping the Saints into 10 a.m. Saturday game against Mount Rainier Lutheran at the Lummi Nation School to play for he Class 1B Tri-District No. 5 and No. 6 berths into state regional play.

Boys basketball
Kennedy 66, Foss 59
Kennedy Catholic clinched a state regional berth with Wednesday's win over Foss at Clover Park High School.
The Lancers go on to a 12 p.m. Saturday game against Lincoln at Puyallup's Rogers High School to play for the No. 5 and No. 6 state regional berths out of the West Central District.

Bellevue Christian 54, Seattle Christian 44
Seattle Christian fell into a 7:45 p.m. Friday game at Sumner High School for the 1A West Central District's No. 3 and No. 4 state regional berths with Wednesday's loss to Bellevue Christian at Sumner.

Girls basketball
West Seattle 73. Juanita 66
West Seattle was a winner in a Sea-King tournament game at Bellevue College played Tuesday.
Tulalip Heritage 48, Seattle Lutheran 37
Seattle Lutheran journeyed to Mount Vernon Christian on Tuesday and had a long bus ride home after a Tri-District loss.
Columbia River 57, Kennedy 50
Tuesday's loss at Franklin Pierce spelled the end of the season for the Kennedy Catholic girls team.
Olympic 50, Foster 38
Foster's season also ended with a loss at the Foss gymnasium Tuesday.
Boys basketball
SCS 64, Vashon 61
Tuesday's victory over Vashon Island at Sumner High School advanced the Warriors into the Class 1A Tri-District championship to take place at 12 p.m. at Foss.
Both teams advance to state regionals.
The Warriors will be playing Cascade Christian.
Bellevue 64, West Seattle 57
The Wildcats went down to defeat in a Sea-King game Tuesday.
Monday, Feb. 15
Boys basketball
Seattle Lutheran 76, Neah Bay 65
Seattle Lutheran knocked off Neah Bay on Monday and advances into the Tri-District Class 1A championship at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Lummi Nation School.
Monday's game took place at Mount Vernon Christian.
Shorewood Christian 76, Evergreen Lutheran 65
Shorewood Christian will provide the opposition for Seattle Lutheran in the championship following Monday's victory over Evergreen Lutheran at Mount Vernon Christian.
