Chief Sealth came up one run shy in its effort to claim the ninth and final district berth out of the Seamount League tournament.

The Seahawks scored a victory over Ingraham earlier Thursday.
Forest Ridge 17, Evergreen 1
Evergreen took a beating against Forest Ridge in a Thursday non-league game.
Boys soccer
Foster 3, Sequim 1
The Bulldogs of Tukwila kept their season alive with a victory over Sequim on Thursday and will now play a 2:30 p.m. winner-to-state, loser-out match at Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
Mt. Rainier 1, Curtis 0
Mount Rainier also stayed alive with a playoff victory Thursday at Curtis.
The Rams will take on Bellarmine in a battle for a state berth at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Tahoma.
Franklin Pierce 2, Evergreen 1
The Wolverines were edged out of the West Central District 2A tournament by host Franklin Pierce.
Auburn-Riverside 3, Kennedy 0
The Lancers' season ended with Thursday's West Central District 3A loss to Auburn-Riverside at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.

Kennedy rides Wednesday's win into a 10 a.m. winner-to-state game at Heidelberg Park in Tacoma this Saturday against Bonney Lake.
The winner plays again for seeding purposes at 4 p.m.
Highline 5, Olympic 3
Highline kept its season alive with Wednesday's win over Olympic at Franklin Pierce.
The Pirates return there for a 10 a.m. winner-to-state playoff Saturday with the winner of that game playing for seeding purposes at 4 p.m.
Timberline 5, Mt. Rainier 4
The Rams were edged out of the Class 4A West Central District tournament with Wednesday's loss at Art Wright Field in Kent.
Sammamish 5, Tyee 1
Tyee's season came to an end with Thursday's 3A West Central District tournament loss.

The Lancers will advance to next week's West Central District 3A tournament as the Seamount League's No. 1 seed after Wednesday's regular season win at Hazen.
