Kennedy Catholic will make a day of it when it journeys to Eastern Washington for the state Class 4A girls soccer quarterfinals.
The Lancers play a 1 p.m. Saturday match against Wenatchee at that school's Apple Bowl, allowing time to go over the Cascades before and after the match.
Kennedy carries a 15-1-3 record into the contest while Wenatchee stands at 15-2-0.
Wenatchee was a 1-0 winner at home in its state opener against Chiawana while the Lancers won by the same score over Lake Stevens at Renton Memorial Stadium on Tuesday.
Saturday's winner advances to the semifinals next Friday at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.
