Football

West Seattle hosts Chief Sealth for a 7 p.m. Friday game at the Southwest Athletic Complex across the street from Chief Sealth.

Evergreen entertains Renton at the same time at Highline Memorial as Foster goes to River Ridge, Highline to Washington, Mount Rainier to Tahoma and Kennedy Catholic to Blanchet.

Ballard hosts Rainier Beach at 6 p.m. Saturday.

 

Girls soccer

Kennedy Catholic hosts Mount Rainier for a 6 p.m. Thursday match at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. the Rams are at Highline Memorial playing Hazen as the Lancers visit Kentridge.

Chief Sealth visits Roosevelt at 4 p.m. Thursday and Ballard goes to Cleveland at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday's schedule has Chief Sealth at home against Ballard at 4:30 p.m. and West Seattle at Lincoln of Seattle at 4 p.m.

Highline hosts Evergreen at 5:30 p.m. Thursday ahead of a 7:30 p.m. match between Tyee and Lindbergh.

Tyee drops in on Evergreen at 7 p.m. Monday at Highline Memorial and Highline visits Foster at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Foster visits Tyee at 7:30 p.m. next Wednesday and Evergreen goes to Eatonville at 7 p.m.

Seattle Christian visits Cascade Christian at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Volleyball

Kennedy Catholic is home playing Bellarmine at 7 p.m. Thursday before going to a Saturday tournament at Kentwood and hosting Todd Beamer at 7:15 p.m. next Wednesday.

Mount Rainier visits Sumner at 7:15 p.m. Monday and hosts Auburn-Riverside at the same time Wednesday.

Chief Sealth is at Rainier Beach and Ballard at Lakeside at 7 p.m. Thursday and at the same time Monday Ballard hosts Federal Way and West Seattle entertains Eastlake.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Ballard is home against Lincoln of Seattle as Chief Sealth hosts Franklin and West Seattle travels to Ingraham.

Tyee goes to Decatur for 7:15 p.m. Thursday action and Evergreen hosts Seattle Christian at the same time Monday.

Evergreen entertains Highline at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday as Foster hosts Renton and Tyee visits Lindbergh.

Seattle Christian visits Klahowya at 6:15 p.m. this Thursday and Seattle Lutheran hosts the Muckleshoot Tribal School at 6 p.m.

Seattle Lutheran hosts Christian Faith at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Boys tennis

Mount Rainier plays host to Kentwood for a 3:30 p.m. Thursday match as Kennedy Catholic goes to Kent Meridian.

The Rams visit the Lancers at the same time Friday before entertaining Tahoma on Tuesday. Kennedy Catholic is home against Hazen that afternoon.

Foster faces Fife in a 3:30 p.m. Friday home match as Highline hosts Lindbergh and Tyee travels to Washington.

Highline is home against Washington on Monday with Foster at Franklin Pierce and Tyee at White River.

Next Wednesday it's Tyee at home playing Steilacoom as Foster hosts Lindbergh and Highline travels to Foss.

 

Girls swimming

Mount Rainier hosts Tahoma for a 3:30 p.m. Tuesday meet and Kennedy Catholic visits Kent Meridian at 3:15 p.m.

Friday Ballard is home against Ingraham at 4 p.m. as Chief Sealth and West Seattle entertain Garfield.

Evergreen, Highline and Tyee are at Fife for a 3 p.m. Tuesday meet as Foster hosts Clover Park, Franklin Pierce and Washington.

Seattle Lutheran visits Life Christian Academy for a 4 p.m. Thursday match before visiting Concordia Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and hosting Christian Faith at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Starfire.

 

Cross country

Mount Rainier hosts Kent-Meridian at 4 p.m. next Wednesday as Kennedy travels to Kentwood with Kentlake.

Chief Sealth and West Seattle are racing at Lincoln of Seattle this Thursday and they are at Garfield next Wednesday.

Auburn Adventist hosts the entire SeaTac League including Seattle Lutheran for a meet next Wednesday.

 

Golf

Chief Sealth visits Garfield for 3:30 p.m. Thursday action at the West Seattle course and West Seattle will be there at the same time Friday hosting Bainbridge.

Ballard drops in on Roosevelt at the Jackson course Tuesday before hosting Lakeside there Wednesday when Chief Sealth hosts Eastside Catholic at West Seattle. West Seattle visits Holy Names/O'Dea at Jefferson at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Foster is home playing Foss at 3:30 p.m. this Thursday with Evergreen, Highline and Tyee hosting Washington at 3 p.m. Friday on the Rainier course before visiting Foss at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Foster visits Steilacoom at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Kennedy Catholic's boys visit Kent-Meridian at 3:15 p.m. this Thursday as Mount Rainier visits Kentlake.

Kennedy turns around to host Kentwood at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Glen Acres and the Rams host Kent-Meridian at Riverbend at 3:15 p.m.

The Kennedy girls host Kent-Meridian at 3 p.m. Thursday at Glen Acres and Mount Rainier hosts Kentlake at 3:15 p.m. at Riverbend.

Tuesday the Lady Rams visit Kent-Meridian at Riverbend and the Lancers visit Kentwood with both matches starting at 3:15 p.m.

Seahawks

Seattle hosts the New Orleans Saints for a 1:25 p.m. game Sunday at CenturyLink Field that can be seen on Channel 7 television.

 

Mariners

Seattle wraps up its series in Pittsburgh with a 9:35 a.m. Thursday game before going to Baltimore to play the Orioles at 4:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 10:05 a.m. Sunday.

The Mariners come home to T-Mobile Park to play the Houston Astros at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mariners games are carried on the ROOT Sports Northwest cable television network.

 

Sounders

Seattle hosts FC Dallas for a 7:30 p.m. match at CenturyLink this Wednesday before visiting D.C. United for 5 p.m.  Sunday action.

Both matches will be shown on JOEtv.

 

F.C. Reign

Utah comes to Cheney Stadium in Tacoma to play the Reign at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Thunderbirds

Seattle opens its Western Hockey League season Saturday, hosting the Kamloops Blazers for a 6:05 p.m. match at the Showare Center in Kent.

 

Emerald Downs

The Auburn oval opens for horse racing action at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Washington visits Brigham Young University for a 12:30 p.m. game Saturday.

Washington State University hosts UCLA for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday clash in Pullman that can be seen on ESPN.

 

Husky volleyball

Washington visits Wisconsin for a 6 p.m. match Thursday before hosting the same team at the same time Saturday.

The Huskies open Pac-12 play with a 5:30 p.m. visit to Washington State University next Wednesday.
