Kris Tollefson of West Seattle High School came through with two big finishes in the 3A girls portion of the state track and field meet.
Tollefson scored a second place finish in the 400-meter dash for the Wildcats with her time of 56.57 seconds and took fifth in the 200 with a 25.85 effort.
In the 3A boys portion of the action held May 24-26 at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Pepe Hernandez of Chief Sealth finished in a five-way tie for fifth place in the high jump at 6 feet, 4 inches and secured seventh in the long jump at 19-10.25.
Anne Patnode of West Seattle came in seventh in the girls long jump at 16-01.25 and Dominique Prater of Chief Sealth placed 12th in the girls shot put at 35-00.25.
Hila Gross of Chief Sealth was 15th in the girls discus at 84-06.
Nikko Emm of West Seattle took 16th in the boys triple jump at 39-09.50.
Seattle Lutheran also placed athletes in the Class 2B meet held at Eastern Washington University in Cheney.
The West Seattle-based school had Jared Stefanoff place third in the javelin at 172-06 and 15th in the 3,200-meter run in 10:56.07.
RJ Son was ninth for the Saints in the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.31 and 14th in the 100-meter dash in 11.59.
Justin Smith of Seattle Lutheran captured 10th place in the discus with a top throw of 125-00.
