Puget Consumer's Co Op (PCC Natural Markets) pulled Snoqualmie Gourmet Ice Cream & Full Tilt Ice cream from their shelves today due to a potential Listeria contamination. Full Tilt shops were closed as a result.
The announcement forced the closure of all the local Molly Moon Ice Cream shops in the area as well.
The Vanilla flavor was affected. No illnesses have been reported.
Owner of Full Tilt Justin Cline said they would have to dump "around 9 or 10 tons of ice cream," and that while the shops would be open the day after Christmas it would be around 10 days to get their product back into stores for commercial sale.
In their official announcement they said:
"All Snoqualmie Gourmet Ice Cream products have been voluntarily recalled due to a potential Listeria contamination.
Out of an abundance of caution, all Full Tilt Ice Cream products have been pulled as well. "
Please discard, or return products purchased at PCC for a full refund.
