High schools
Boys basketball
Evergreen hosts Tyee for 7 p.m. action Wednesday as Foster entertains
Kennedy Catholic and Highline hosts Renton.
Highline is at Kennedy at the same time Friday as Foster goes to Tyee
and Evergreen to Hazen. Seattle Christian hosts Charles Wright at the
same time and Mount Rainier goes to Kent-Meridian at 7:30 p.m.
West Seattle is at home playing Bainbridge at 8 p.m. as Chief Sealth
goes on the road to Nathan Hale.
Saturday's schedule has Seattle Christian at Auburn Adventist and
Foster at Sammamish at 7 p.m.
West Seattle plays Skyline in a 7 p.m. game at Eastside Catholic on
Monday, then Tuesday at the same starting time Mount Rainier is home
playing Kentwood, Chief Sealth at Bainbridge and West Seattle at
Rainier Beach.
Highline hosts Seattle Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Girls basketball
West Seattle -- which boasts a 10-2 record and is ranked No. 4 in the
state by the Seattle Times -- hosts Cleveland for a 7:30 p.m. game
Wednesday as Chief Sealth entertains Franklin.
Evergreen travels to Tyee at 7 p.m. as Foster goes to Kennedy and
Highline to Renton.
Tyee is at Foster for a 5:30 p.m. game Friday and Seattle Christian
hosts Charles Wright at 5:15 p.m.
West Seattle gets a 6:15 p.m. visit from Bainbridge that day and Chief
Sealth visits Nathan Hale at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m. Kennedy is at
Highline, Hazen at Evergreen and Kent-Meridian at Mount Rainier.
Seattle Christian hosts Auburn Adventist at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at
7 p.m. Monday Lakes is at Kennedy and Mount Rainier at Auburn.
SCS goes to Highline at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Mount Rainier travels to
Kentwood at 7:30 p.m.
Gymnastics
Mount Rainier hosts Kentridge, Puyallup and Rogers for a 7 p.m. meet
today, and Friday at 4 p.m. Chief Sealth is at Holy Names with Nathan
Hale. West Seattle travels to Ballard at 6 p.m.
Wrestling
West Seattle hosts O'Dea at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and at 7 p.m. Kennedy
is at Evergreen/Tyee, Lindbergh at Foster and Highline at Hazen. Mount
Rainier drops in on Federal Way at 7:30 p.m.
Mount Rainier goes to the River Ridge Rumble at 9 a.m. Saturday and
Evergreen to the Liberty Invitational at 9:30 p.m. with Highline going
to Auburn Mountainview at 10 a.m.
Chief Sealth entertains Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Boys swimming
The Evergreen/Tyee/Highline team visits Lindbergh for a 3 p.m. meet
Thursday and Mount Rainier goes to Puyallup at 3:30 p.m.
Chief Sealth/West Seattle will be at the Southwest Pool hosting
Garfield at 3:30 p.m. Friday and Tuesday Auburn Mountainview is at
Kennedy at 3 p.m. and Mount Rainier at Kentridge at 3:30 p.m.
Pros and colleges
Seahawks
Seattle plays for the NFC championship and a return trip to the Super
Bowl when it hosts Green Bay at 12 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
Channel 13 will show the game live.
Thunderbirds
Seattle visits Kelowna for 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League action
Friday before stopping at Everett at the same time Saturday.
Husky men
The Universityof Washington hosts Oregon State at 6 p.m. Thursday and
Oregon at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Pac-12 network shows the Thursday game and ESPNU the Sunday game.
Cougar men
Washington State University in Pullman entertains Oregon for an 8 p.m.
game Thursday and hosts Oregon State at 6 p.m. Saturday with the
Pac-12 network carrying both games.
Husky women
Washington is at Oregon at 8 p.m. Friday and at Oregon State at 5 p.m.
Monday with the Pac-12 network airing the action.
Cougar women
Washington State University visits Oregon State at 6 p.m. Friday and
Oregon at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Pac-12 netowrk will show both games.
Redhawks men
Seattle University hosts Texas-Pan Am at 7 p.m. Thursday and New
Mexico State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Redhawks women
Seattle drops in on UTPA at 5 p.m. Thursday and visits New Mexico
State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Bulldogs men
ROOT sports will carry the games live as Gonzaga visits Pepperdine at
7:30 p.m. Thursday and goes to Loyola Marymount at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Bulldogs women
Gonzaga hosts Pepperdine for a 6 p.m. game Thursday in Spokane and
entertains Loyola Marymount at 2 p.m. Saturday.
