The Eighth Annual West Seattle Car Show will be held Sunday, September 13 at South Seattle College, a change of venue. All past previous shows were held in the West Seattle Junction.

The show, to be held in the north parking lot, will run from 10 AM – 3 PM

More than 200 cars and hydroplanes will be on display from classics to custom automobiles with free admission for the family-friendly event. This year will mark the first-year that this West Seattle tradition will be held at South and will feature a host of the college’s signature programs.

Proceeds from the registered cars will benefit South’s Automotive Technology program. (While space is limited, registration forms are still being accepted and are available here.) Additionally, the event will feature a beer and wine garden that will serve South’s award-winning (and student produced) wine from the Northwest Wine Academy. Three food trucks will be on-site, including South Alum and Executive Chef Jeff Maxfield from “Sky City At the Needle.” South’s Chinese Garden and Arboretum will also be open and will have tours and activities for kids. The festive atmosphere will be complemented with live music and musical selections by DJ Larry Lomax.

Awards will be announced at 3 PM, including “Best in Show,” “Best Alternative Fuel” and more.
