Fall sports
High school fall sports practices continue this week, leading up to the first events -- football games -- on Friday, Sept. 2.
Pros
Seahawks
Seattle hosts the Dallas Cowboys for an exhibition game at 7 p.m. Thursday at CenturyLink Field.
The action can be seen live on Channel 13 public television.
Sounders
Seattle has two road matches on tap for this week, dropping in on Houston for 6 p.m. action Thursday before going to Portland to play the Timbers at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday's game will be carried on JOEtv and Sunday's on ESPN cable.
Storm
Seattle returns to action Friday after taking a break for the Olympics, hosting Los Angeles for 7 p.m. action at the KeyArena.
The Storm rolls into Minnesota for a 4 p.m. game Sunday.
Friday's game can be seen on JOEtv and Sunday's on ESPN2.
Reign
Seattle's women's soccer team is at home playing Portland in a 2 p.m. match Saturday at Seattle Memorial Stadium.
Mariners
Seattle concludes its three-game series against the New York Yankees with 12:40 p.m. action Wednesday at Safeco Field.
Then it's off to Chicago to play the White Sox at 5:10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 4:10 p.m. Saturday and 11:10 a.m. Sunday.
The Mariners go to Texas to take on Chief Sealth graduate Keone Kela, Thomas Jefferson graduate Tony Barnette and the Rangers at 5:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
All M's games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television.
Rainiers
Tacoma is in Reno playing the Aces at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
The Rainiers then come home to Cheney Stadium to play the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing track is open for 6:30 p.m. action Friday and for 2 p.m. competition Saturday and Sunday.
