With the plans in place and the hurdles cleared for the tear down and remodel of Alki Elementary School the time has come to say goodbye. A letter was sent out to the community announcing an open house on June 21 from 4 to 6pm

A Land Use Application has been filed with the Seattle Departmet of Construction and Inspections to allow a 5-story, 50-unit apartment building at 1103 NW Market Street.

At 3:30 am, on Wednesday morning officers responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 in the 9200 block of 35 Ave SW.

The second Early Design Guidance meeting for Project Number: 3037493-EG has been set for July 6 at 5pm. for a 6-story, 65-unit apartment building at 1116 Alki Ave SW. Parking for 102 vehicles is proposed.
