Eagles overcome Gig Harbor

The Federal Way Eagles boys basketball team is not the first seed into the district tournament or even the second from the South Puget Sound League North Division.

But that did not matter, as the third-seeded Eagles just are going to take it one quarter at a time like they did beating the visitor to their gym, Gig Harbor, 76-56 in opening round West Central District 4A action Thursday.

The Eagles sport a fantastic 17-3 overall record.

How absurd

Absurd Person Singular ran for two years on Broadway and twice that on London's West End. It has been described as "one of the 5 great comedies of the last half of the twentieth century." And yet it gets remarkably few productions here in the United States. The play opened Friday, February 9 at Centerstage and runs through Sunday, February 25.
