Kudos for Geno's Cafe

I wonder how many of you readers know that Geno and Sharon Rumans, owners and operators of the wonderful little cafe, Geno's Cafe, have recently sold to new owners after 13 years.

Many of us in the community watched as the Rumans spent long, hard hours turning what was once a rather unnoticed and neglected storefront on Ambaum at S.W.

Rough ride on Ambaum

Ambaum Boulevard in the city of Burien is a nightmare for automobile suspension systems. I wondered why people use the left or passing lane more than the right hand lane. The reason I feel is when the road was repaved several years ago, they did not raise the street drains to the correct level. When your car hits one it is a jarring experience. Then the many manhole covers and steel boxes are also not at the correct height.

And let us not forget when contractors tear up a section of road the patch they apply sometimes lasts and sometimes not, leaving another gaping hole.

Take your valentine to Burien theatre

Burien Little Theatre has a wonderful Valentine gift opening that opened last weekend.

The musical comedy review I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a great way to spend an evening with your sweetheart.

The review by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts is a series of comedy sketches and songs describing many of the emotions and situations that can happen in a romance.
