Vintage Park has 543 units, many with more than one family living in them. It is estimated that as many as 750 families could be affected.

Now known as 139 at the Park, Vintage Park has been purchased by Chicago-based developer Laramar, which plans to renovate the units.

From Burien to Bellagio for gargantuan troll

Where can an artist go when she has just one day to find a studio big enough to construct a 30-foot, one-ton concrete sculpture for a tony Las Vegas resort?

"Thank god for Craig's List," answers artist Kim Graham.

Through the Internet site, Graham found a building behind a house just off Des Moines Memorial Drive South just a few blocks north of Sunnydale school in Burien.

There the sculptor and her six team members worked frantically to build the "gargantuan" troll in six weeks.

The work was commissioned for the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas.

Columbia River ruins Kennedy's hopes of qualifying quickly

Kennedy could not get on the train as it left on the tracks, so to speak, and, therefore, the Columbia River Chieftains became a runaway train and were gone, quickly, with a 57-44 eventual win, making the Lancers chances a lot tougher of making the state tournament after this important 3A West Central/Southwest Bi-District battle at Clover Park High School Friday.

Maybe some words of encouragement are due from head coach, Jason Prouty, after this one.
