The Ballard District Council is convening for its monthly meeting tonight and topics on the agenda for the evening include the economic well being of the Ballard area industry, Ballard "Greenways", and the Shilshole Bay Marina.

7:25 p.m.: A Check Up on the Economic Health & Well Being of Ballard Area Industry by Dave Gering, Executive Director of the Manufacturing Industrial Council of Seattle
7:50 p.m.: Envisioning Ballard “Greenways” by Jennifer Litowski & Colin Dietrich
8:00 p.m.: Our Neighborhood Matching Fund.
Laurie Ames, Project Manager at the City Dept of Neighborhoods, will review current opportunities to secure a grant from the City’s world renowned Matching Fund program. She’ll also provide a snapshot of some of the more successful and interesting projects in Ballard funded through this program over the past two decades.
