The Emerald City Wanderers will celebrate Midsummer Night and the Summer Solstice with a walk in Ballard.

Sponsored by the Emerald City Wanderers and sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association, the early evening walk is a free event and participants of all ages can enjoy the five or ten kilometer stroll with beautiful views. 

The five kilometer route is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. 

Participants are invited to meet at the Nordic Heritage Museum at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, and walks will start anytime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Nordic Heritage Museum is at 3014 N.W. 67th Street.
