11:32 p.m., January 27. 8th block of NW 85th St

A bartender called police after an intoxicated customer attacked a woman who attempted to assist her. The complainant said that she was tending the bar when she noticed a highly intoxicated female. She asked the female to leave, and the female stood up, knocked things off of the bar, and went outside. The complainant described the suspect as a white female, 52 years old, 5’2” and 125 lbs.

Police then spoke with the victim, who said that she was inside the bar when she saw the suspect yelling and causing a disturbance. The suspect then walked outside and fell to the ground. When the victim attempted to help the suspect to her feet, the suspect stabbed her in the hand with a pen, causing a deep wound. The suspect hit a person who tried to intervene, and then attempted to run away, biting another person before fleeing the scene.

The victim said that a friend would take her to the hospital. Police searched the area for the suspect but did not locate her. The bar does have surveillance cameras.

January 27. Mount Baker

A man suspected in several violent armed robberies in Seattle and a home invasion robbery in Greenwood was arrested near Mount Baker on January 27. The suspect, a 19-year-old male, is suspected of committing a home invasion robbery at 92nd and Greenwood on January 20. The suspect opened fire inside the home during that incident. He is also suspected in several holdups over the course of the last month. Patrol officers spotted the suspect and chased him on foot, then arrested him and booked him into King County Jail.

1:02 p.m., January 27. 34th block of NW 59th St

A man called police to report that his home had been burglarized and that he suspected a friend’s acquaintance. The victim arrived home on the night of the 25th to find his bathroom window broken. The suspect stole $800 in cash, a TV, and an Xbox. The victim reported that a friend of a friend told him that an acquaintance had tried to sell him an Xbox and was carrying an unusually large amount of cash. The victim said that he would have his friend buy the Xbox so that he could see if the serial number matched his.

9:32 p.m., January 25. 83rd block of 26th Ave NW

A woman called police after her home was burglarized while she was taking a shower. The victim said that she was in the shower from about 8:00-8:15 p.m. on Jan. 25 and heard a thud but did not think anything of it. When she left the bathroom, she found a window open and several items missing. A small ladder had been set up outside the window. The suspect only took a tan canvas bag, a change purse, and a pair of women’s glasses.

3:00 p.m., January 23. 55th block of Greenwood Ave N

A teenage boy returned home on the afternoon of January 23 to find that his family’s home had been burglarized. The burglars had broken open the back door and ransacked the main floor of the house. The suspects stole many items, including two laptops; a video camera; an iPod Nano; cash; a lockbox with ID; and thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry, including five watches. Officers attempted to lift fingerprints but were unable to locate any.
