Vacationing man gets bicycle stolen
July 5, 2:06 p.m., 1500 Block of NW 59th St -- A man's bike was stolen while he was on vacation. An unknown suspect entered the apartment's secure garage and stole it. Police officers checked for prints but could not find any.
Burglar makes off with change, digital camera
July 5, 12:28 a.m., 300 Block of NW 77th St -- When a woman arrived home late at night, around 11:25 p.m., she found a window and a door open and several items missing. Missing items included an unknown amount of change from her change jar, a digital camera and maybe some jewelry (she could tell it had been gone through, but was unsure if anything was taken).
A neighbor said that at approximately 11:30 p.m., she saw an unknown male come out of the yard with a dark colored bag. She described the suspect as 6'2", African American, male and athletic. She said the suspect had very short braided hair.
A fingerprint check turned up negative.
Don't trust a girl named Sky
July 6, noon, 1600 Block of NW 65th St -- A man in the process of moving found that the bedroom back at his prior residence (which he still maintains along with the garage) was kicked in and ransacked. He said he is missing a Dell laptop and all of the weapons in his gun safe.
The victim said he was gone since last evening. He picked up an approximately 21-year-old woman, who he knew only as "Sky," at Westlake Park. He took her to a hotel in Aurora -- he says he can't recall the name -- and after that the two were driven by one of Sky's friends to a home in Woodinville. He said he couldn't recall the details of the ride and returned to Seattle by bus, where he found out about the break-in for the first time.
Mystery of the transporting backpack
July 7, 7:09 a.m., 3000 Block of NW Market St -- A man's storage locker in the basement of his apartment building was forced open. He said he last saw it secure two-three days ago and that he found his backpack in the general use bathroom in the next room. At the time of the report, the victim did not say any times were missing and there is no suspect, witness or any further information. There were no surfaces able to hold fingerprints.

July 8, 6:21 p.m., 8400 Block of Seaview Pl NW, Golden Gardens Park -- A juvenile fell victim to a Facebook buy and sell exchange gone bad.
The juvenile had arranged to sell some expensive items of clothing to the suspects at Golden Gardens Park. When he met them in the greenbelt area around 6:15 p.m., the suspects surrounded him and gave three threatening (and not especially eloquent) choices:
1) He could just give them the clohing.
2) He could run, they can catch up, beat him up and take the clothing.
3) They could beat him up and take the clothing.
The victim went with option No. 1, giving them the clothing and having them take his phone. He then immediately ran away.
The victim's father could not track his son's phone and said that the suspects must have removed the iPhone card.
An area check, including the greenbelt and trails, turned up negative. The victim who said he had run into two of them before the incident, said he could recognize them if he saw them.
