Psychic View: More inner guidance

I wrote previously on the theme of ‘inner guidance,’ and the necessity of heeding it. I know many who’ve experience it, even while disowning any claim of being ‘psychic.’ Here are a few examples.
The following occurred when ‘Billy’ was about five years of age. His Dad had gone to the store for ice cream. The lad was eagerly awaiting his return, but when his Mom assured that his father would soon be back, Billy gave a startling announcement; Dad would NOT be coming with the ice cream, because he’d gotten into a car accident and was now in the hospital! Of course, his mother was disbelieving and shocked, but several minutes later she received a phone call reporting her husband had indeed been in a collision! (Thankfully, he recovered fully). This story has become ‘legendary’ is Billy’s family, and he, now an adult, remembers it distinctly. Yet, he does not credit himself with ‘psychic abilities.’
Another report comes from Tokyo, where I lived for years. ‘Mari’ was a young woman, engaged to be married, yet not convinced her fiancé was the right man for her. Lying in bed one stormy evening in her parents’ home, she was mulling over her predicament. Then, out of the blue, came her future husband’s voice loud and clear: ‘Cover yourself!’ Without hesitation, she drew the heavy quilt on her bed over her head. An instant later, a broken tree branch crashed through her window, sending shattered glass in her direction. Had the quilt not protected her, she might have faced serious injury. Awed by the incident, Mari concluded that her ‘savior’ was indeed her destined match; they have now been happily married for years.
One touching story comes from rural Texas. The young woman in question was married with two small children. ‘Fay’ was estranged from her only sibling. One day, an overwhelming compulsion overcame her. She must send flowers to her sister Anne, whom she had not spoken to in several years. This was neither her birthday, nor any occasion demanding a bouquet. Furthermore, Fay had financial issues, and had no extra cash for ‘frivolities” Still, the urge to acknowledge her sister did not lessen. She followed her impulse and sent the flowers; the accompanying message stated simply, ‘somebody cares.’
Fay soon received an astounded call from Anne; she’d been enduring myriad difficulties, and had fallen into despair. She’d decided to end her life, believing that no one in the world cared about her. She even had the bottle of pills in her hand when those flowers arrived, with the note from her sister saying ‘somebody cares!’ To Anne, this was nothing short of a miracle. Fay, following her odd compulsion, saved her sister’s life. The two have since reconciled, and Anne’s life has taken a turn for the better.
These experiences serve to demonstrate the marvelous, mysterious web that connects us all. And so much might be gained if only we allow ourselves to be drawn into it.
