The Ballard Beavers boys basketball team won Friday's home conference game against Newport.
With a score of 54-42, the Beavers squad stayed ahead through the night, not letting up on the Knights.
Top scorers of the game were Darius George (Sr) with seven points, Chase Deger (Sr) with 16 and Nick Brown (Sr) with 25.
Beavers are now 2-0 and will play the Skyline Spartans (2-0) in Ballard tomorrow Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
