If you had planned on hitting a white golf ball around on green grass, that's not going to happen today in Seattle.
The Seattle Dept. of Parks and Recreation has shared a list of snow impacts today.
Impacts on Monday, Feb. 4:
- Golf Courses: Interbay, West Seattle, Jackson Park, and Jefferson Park golf courses are closed.
- Swim: All early morning swim programs and practices are canceled.
- Community Center programs: All advance registration programs and activities are canceled.
- Community Centers: Updates coming soon; check back here.
- Teen Centers/Late Night Recreation: All Late Night Recreation programs are canceled; all Teen Centers are currently scheduled to be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for drop-in use.
- Citywide athletics programs: All sports programs and games are canceled; all evening athletic programs are canceled.
- Athletic Fields: Updates coming soon; check back here.
- Special Populations/Life Long Recreation: All scheduled programs are canceled.
- Camp Long programs: All scheduled programs are canceled.
- Aquatic Centers: All advance registration programs including swim lessons are canceled; all rentals are canceled; all early-morning lap swims are canceled; all school team and organized swim practices are canceled. Currently, drop-in swim programs are scheduled to continue between the approximate hours of 12-3 p.m. (please call the facility to confirm).
- Small Craft Centers: All programs are canceled; Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center and the Green Lake Small Craft Center are closed.
- Amy Yee Tennis Center: AYTC programs are canceled and the facility is currently closed.
