The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Sunday through Tuesday night predicting up to 8 more inches or snowfall for our area. The longer range forecast calls for temperatures in the 20's through next Wednesday.
WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible as two storm systems move across the area. The first system will move across the area Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, bringing the potential for 1 to 3 inches of new snow. Another system will move in quickly behind this system Monday and continue through Tuesday, bringing the potential for more significant snowfall. New snow accumulations Monday through Tuesday of 5 to 8 inches possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through late Tuesday night.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible given little recovery from previous snowstorm.
