According to the King County Sheriff's office on December 16, 2018 at approximately 12:15 AM a woman was at a bar in the 5100 block of Ballard AVE NW in Seattle. She went outside to catch a rideshare home that a friend had ordered for her. A man in a black vehicle, possibly a Dodge Charger, led her to believe he was her rideshare driver.
The woman entered the vehicle. While driving her home, the woman said the man pulled the vehicle over and raped her near 11400 block of 5th Ave S in White Center.
Surveillance footage captured the person of interest near the victim’s home.
The video was captured after the rape, he brought her home, had her keys and her cell phone in her pocket which you can see him handing her, unlocked her door and left.
This subject was described as possibly Hispanic and spoke with an accent. King County Detectives have, at this time, been unable to associate the man with any rideshare company.
Police urge anyone with information of whom this person of interest is, please call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206/296-3311.
