Hazen 41, Evergeen 26
The Wolverines played a high scoring game at home at Highline Memorial against the Hazen Highlanders last Friday but lost, dropping a 41-26 decision.
Evergreen will be playing a 7 p.m. road game at Foster High School's stadium in more Seamount League action this coming Friday.
Kentlake 18, Mt. Rainier 6
Mount Rainier played its closest game of the year Friday, getting edged by the Kentlake Falcons by an 18-6 score at Highline Memorial.
The Rams have a tougher game on tap for this coming Friday, when they visit the Thomas Jefferson Raiders in 7 p.m. South Puget Sound League North Division action at Federal Way Memorial.
Saturday, Oc. 12
Football
Kennedy 41, Foster 27
Colin Cossette scored five touchdowns for the Kennedy Catholic Lancers as they defeated close Seamount League rival Foster by a 41-27 score this past Saturday.
Cossette's effort included a 52-yard run, with the rest of his touchdowns also being scored on the ground.
Cossette also kicked five extra points for the Lancers, whose other touchdown was scored on a 69-yard pass play to Nate Randall from Damien Maricich.
Randy Tippins got in on three touchdowns for the Bulldogs of Foster.
Tippins scored on a 4-yard run and an 11-yard run before throwing to Charlee Simpson for another touchdown.
Justice Muna also scored for the Bulldogs, punching a 1-yard run into the end zone.
Foster is at home against Evergreen this coming Friday and Kennedy is at Renton that night. Both games start at 7 p.m.
Lakeside 56, Highline 14
Highline became the latest victim of Lakeside, dropping a non-league decision by a 56-14 score this past Saturday. Lakeside was also a lopsided winner over Evergreen in another non-league game the week before.
The Pirates will be at home at Highline Memorial facing Lindbergh in a 7 p.m. Seamount League game this coming Friday.
