The Bulldogs of Foster are still alive despite losing games on Tuesday and Thursday. They are set to play for the No. 7 and No. 8 West Central District seeds out of the Seamount League/South Puget Sound League 2A tournament at 7 p.m. today at home against Steilacoom.

Taggart Anderson hit 12 points to lead Seattle Christian past Cascade Christian in Thursday's game.
Girls basketball
Evergreen 53, Tyee 49
The Wolverines turned the tables on the Totems on Thursday after losing close games to them in both regular season meetings.
Evergreen now opens the West Central District tournament with a 6:30 p.m. game against Fife at Curtis on Monday.
Tyee plays Washington for the No. 7 and No. 8 district seeds at 7 p.m. today at home.

Kennedy Catholic opened 3A sub-district action with a victory over the Peninsula Seahawks this past Wednesday, and the Lancers are set to play a 7 p.m. game at Enumclaw today for the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds into next week's West Central District tournament.

The Lancer girls are also playing for the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds today, visiting Auburn-Mountainview for 7 p.m. action.

In the 2A SPSL/Seamount League sub-district tournament the Totems opened with a loss.
Sumner 64, Evergreen 29
Evergreen also opened sub-district action with a loss Tuesday, falling to the Sumner Spartans in a road game.
Mt. Rainier 70, Todd Beamer 58
The Rams of Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines opened the 4A SPSL tournament with a victory Tuesday, advancing them into the West Central District tournament Thursday.
