Junior football
Four area youth football programs have training camps underway in the area.
The SWAC Cougars meet at the Southwest Athletic Complex at 5:30 p.m. each weekday and the West Seattle Wildcats start at 5 p.m. at the Hiawatha Playfield.
Burien's Bearcats converge at 5:30 p.m. at the old Glacier High School site and the Pacific Highway Chargers start at 6 p.m. at Chinook Middle School.

Mariners
Seattle gets a 12:40 p.m. visit from the Atlanta Braves Wednesday before hosting the Chicago White Sox at 7:10 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
Saturday's action against Chicago starts at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday's at 1:10 p.m.
The Toronto Blue Jays come to Safeco Field for three important games with Wildcard playoff berth implications at 7:10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mariners games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television and heard on 710 AM.
Rainiers
Federal Way High School graduate Travis Ishikawa and the Fresno Grizzlies come to Cheney Stadium to play the Rainiers in 7:05 p.m. games Thursday, Friday and Saturday ahead of 1:35 p.m. action Sunday and an 11:35 a.m. game Monday.
The Rainiers go to New Orleans for 5 p.m. games Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sounders
Houston comes to CenturyLink Field for a 7:30 p.m. Major Soccer League match on Sunday that can be seen on ESPN 2.
Seattle comes to the Starfire complex in Tukwila to host Chicago for a 7 p.m. match next Wednesday.
Seahawks
Seattle opens its preseason schedule with a 6 p.m. visit to Denver on Thursday.
The Super Bowl rematch can be seen on Channel 13 TV.
Storm
The Seattle Storm hosts Atlanta for a 7 p.m. game Thursday at KeyArena before entertaining Tulsa at the same place at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Thursday's game can be seen on the Live Well network and Sunday's on KONG and NBA TV.
Reign
The Seattle women's soccer team plays a 7 p.m. home game against Houston at Seattle Memorial on Wednesday before entertaining Washington at the same time and place Saturday.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing oval will be open at 6:45 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
