High schools
Football
West Seattle hosts Washington at 7 p.m. Friday at the Southwest Athletic Complex as Chief Sealth travels to Rainier Beach.
Mount Rainier is home at Highline Memorial facing Bethel at the same time as Evergreen goes to Fife, Foster to Sammamish and Highline to Nathan Hale.
Kennedy Catholic goes to Seattle Memorial to play Seattle Prep at 5 p.m. Friday.
Volleyball
Foster entertains Washington at 7 p.m. Wednesday, while Chief Sealth is home at the same time and West Seattle at Franklin.
Mount Rainier visits Lake Washington at 7 p.m. Thursday and Evergreen goes to Thomas Jefferson at 7:15 p.m.
Friday West Seattle is at home at 7 p.m. as Chief Sealth travels to Cleveland.
Monday's schedule has West Seattle hosting Cleveland and Chief Sealth entertaining Ballard, while Tuesday Evergreen is at Tyee, JFK at Highline and Hazen at Evergreen -- also at 7 p.m. -- with Mount Rainier hosting Blanchet at 7:15 p.m.
Girls soccer
Evergreen hosts Sammamish at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Highline Memorial and Mount Rainier visits Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m.
At 3:30 p.m. Chief Sealth is at Ballard and West Seattle at Blanchet.
Saturday JFK entertains West Valley of Yakima at 3 p.m. at the Starfire complex and Foster visits Sammamish at 7:30 p.m.
Tyee and Evergreen play at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley Ridge as Highline goes to Renton. JFK is at Foster at 7:30 p.m. and Mount Rainier hosts Federal Way at 7 p.m.
Lakeside is at Chief Sealth at 4 p.m. and West Seattle travels to Rainier Beach.
Boys tennis
Evergreen hosts Tyee at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday as JFK goes to Foster and Highline hosts Renton.
Mount Rainier gets a visit from Kent-Meridian on Thursday and Friday Highline is at JFK, Foster at Tyee and Evergreen at Hazen.
Monday's schedule has Highline at Mount Rainier, Hazen at Foster and JFK at Renton and Tuesday the Mount Rainier team is home against Kentlake.
Girls swimming
Mount Rainier hosts Tahoma for a 3:30 p.m. meet Tuesday.
Cross country
Evergreen is the site of the Seamount Jamboree at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Golf
Mount Rainier entertains Kent-Meridian at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in boys action as the girls go to K-M.
Chief Sealth is home against Bainbridge at 3 p.m. Friday and at the same time Tuesday the JFK, Tyee, Evergreen and Highline teams play at the Rainier Golf and Country Club.

Mariners
Seattle is at home playing Houston at 7:10 p.m. today before the Oakland A's invade Safeco Field for key games at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The M's visit the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
ROOT Sports cable TV carries all of Seattle's games.
Seahawks
Channel 13 will show Sunday's 1:05 p.m. game at San Diego.
Sounders
Real Salt Lake visits Seattle at 7:30 p.m. Friday at CenturyLink Field in a game shown on NBC Sports.
The Sounders travel to Philadephia for 4:30 p.m. action Tuesday.
Huskies
Washington hosts Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday on Channel 13.
Cougars
The Pac-12 cable network will show Saturday's 5 p.m. game in Pullman against Portland State.
