Football
Foster travels to Renton Stadium to play Hazen in a 7 p.m. game Thursday, then Highline Memorial will be the site of a double-header Friday.
Mount Rainier plays Todd Beamer at 5 p.m. ahead of an 8 p.m. battle between Kennedy Catholic and Highline.
West Seattle hosts Rainier Beach at the Southwest Athletic Complex at 7 p.m. Friday and Evergreen visits Renton at 7 p.m.
Chief Sealth plays Ballard in 7:45 p.m. action at Seattle Memorial.
Volleyball
Chief Sealth entertains Rainier Beach at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Then Thursday action has Kentwood at Mount Rainier at 7:15 p.m., with a full 7 p.m. slate of Evergreen at Foster, Lindbergh at Kennedy, Hazen at Highline and Tyee at Renton.
Seattle Christian travels to Tyee at 7 p.m. Friday.
Highline and Evergreen are playing in the Anacortes Tournament at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Girls soccer
Renton drops in on Tyee at 5:30 p.m. Thursday ahead of a 7:30 p.m. match between Foster and Evergreen.
Chief Sealth travels to Eastside Catholic at 3:30 p.m. Thursday as West Seattle travels to Garfield at Seattle Memorial.
JFK is at Lindbergh at 4 p.m. and Highline at Hazen at 7:30 p.m.
Sammamish is at Tyee at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Cross country
Mount Rainier is at home against Federal Way at 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday JFK, Evergreen, Foster and Renton are in a meet at SeaTac Park at the same time and Highline, Tyee and Hazen are at Lindbergh.
Boys tennis
Foster is at Renton and Highline at Lindbergh for 3:30 p.m. matches Wednesday, and Thursday Mount Rainier is home against Kentwood and Highline at Renton at the same time.
Foster goes to Kennedy Catholic on Friday.
Golf
Foster visits Hazen at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday and Renton, Lindbergh and Highline compete at the Rainier Golf and Country Club at 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
Mount Rainier is at Kentlake at 3:15 p.m. Thursday and at 3 p.m. Roosevelt is at Chief Sealth and West Seattle at Ingraham.
Girls golf
Foster is at Hazen at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday and at 3:15 p.m. Thursday the Renton, Lindbergh and Highline teams are at Rainier.
College and pros
Mariners
Seattle visits Toronto for 4:07 p.m. action Wednesday and for a 1:07 p.m. game Thursday.
The Los Angeles Angels come to Safeco Field for a 7:10 p.m. game Friday and for 6:10 p.m. action Saturday ahead of a 1:10 p.m. game Sunday to end the regular season.
M's games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television.
Sounders
Seattle visits FC Dallas for a 6 p.m. match Wednesday and Saturday the Sounders are at home at CenturyLink Field for a 1 p.m. match against Chivas USA.

Seahawks
Seattle has a bye this week before visiting the Washington Redskins for a 5:30 p.m. game Sunday, Oct. 6.
Huskies
Stanford visits the University of Washington for 1:15 p.m. game Saturday that can be seen on Channel 13.

Washington State University goes to Utah for 5 p.m. action Saturday on the Pac-12 network.
Emerald Downs
The race track in Auburn is open for 6:45 p.m. action Friday and for 2 p.m. action Saturday and Sunday.

The Kent-based Seattle hockey team visits the Tri-City Americans at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
