New Select Girls Basketball League Tryouts Kennedy Catholic High School is starting a youth select girls (5th-8th grade) basketball program that will focus on player and team development. This will work in conjunction with CYO or other grade school programs. Kennedy Catholic Select players will be trained by current Kennedy HS and proven AAU coaches. Both tryouts and practices will be held at Kennedy HS Gymnasium. The season runs November - early March. Tryouts: Sat., Oct. 11, 1-3pm & Sun., Oct. 12, 6-8pm for 5th-8th grade girls. New Alzheimer’s Association Men’s Caregiver Support Group Saviour’s Lutheran Church 158 S. 168th St. 3rd Thurs. of month, 1-2:30 p.m. A free support group for unpaid male care partners of individuals with memory loss. A place for male caregivers to learn and gain support from other male caregivers who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with memory loss.
