The Rams came up one point shy in their crossover game against the Chargers of Kentridge on Thursday.
Volleyball
Kennedy 3, Evergreen 0
The Lancers finished undefeated in Seamount League play with a 14-0 record with Thursday's victory over the second-place Wolverines (12-2).
JFK advances as the league's No. 1 seed in Class 3A play and Evergreen still goes on as the No. 1 2A seed ahead of Lindbergh (9-5).
Kennedy Catholic plays the No. 3 team from the Greater St. Helens League at 3:30 p.m. next Friday in West Central District 3A tournament action at Auburn Mountainview.
Win or lose, the Lancers play again at 7 p.m., with the tournament continuing through Saturday.
Evergreen meets the Kngco No. 2 team at 3:30 p.m. next Friday at Washington High School near Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland.
Win or lose, the Wolveiens play again at 7 p.m., with that tournament also running through Saturday.
Hazen 3, Tyee 0
The Highlanders finished as the 3A No. 2 seed at 8-6 with Thursday's win over the Totems (0-14).
Foster 3, Renton 0
Foster finished at 7-7 in Seamount League action with the win, giving the Lady Bulldogs third among 2A teams and fifth overall.
They play SPSL No. 3 at 5:15 p.m. next Friday at Washington and win or lose will play again at 8:45 p.m.
Tournament action continues through Saturday.
Lindbergh 3, Highline 0
Highline qualified No. 4 among 2A teams at 4-10 and will play Kingco No. 1 at 3:30 p.m. next Friday at Franklin Pierce High School.
Win or lose, the Pirates will play again at 7 p.m. with the tournament running through Saturday.
Chief Sealth 3, Nathan Hale 0
Chief Sealth kept its season alive with Thursday's win and goes on to the Metro League Tournament it is hosting starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Wildcats were edged by Cleveland in a playoff match Thursday.

Kennedy Catholic finished unbeaten at 7-0-0 in Seamount League play with Tuesday's win over the Wolverines (0-7-0).
The Lancers journey to the Kiggins Bowl in Vancouver for a 5 p.m. match against the Greater St. Helens League No. 1 team next Thursday.
The winner plays for the West Central Bi-District 3A championship at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Chevrolet Stadium in Sumner and the loser plays for No. 2 and No. 5 at 12 p.m.
Highline 1, Lindbergh 1
The Pirates (3-3-1) rose up to tie second place overall and No. 1 2A seed Lindbergh (5-1-1) Tuesday.
Highline came away with the No. 3 and final 2A postseason seed and opens with a loser-out match against the Olympic League No. 3 team at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday at Franklin Pierce.
The winner plays another loser-out game for the WCD No. 4 berth to state at 12 p.m. Saturday at Franklin Pierce.

The Totems finished 1-6-0 with Tuesday's loss.
Renton 8, Foster 1
Foster fell in a match that would have sent it on to the postseason had it won.
Renton goes on at 4-3-0 instead and the Bulldogs wound up at 2-5-0. The two teams would have tied at 3-4-0 had Foster won.

The Rams' season ended with Tuesday's shutout loss at Federal Way Memorial Field.
