Baseball
Kennedy Catholic faces a loser-out game Wednesday, playing Bonney Lake in a 7 p.m. playoff game at Heidelberg Park in Tacoma.
If the Lancers win, they will play at the same site at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Seattle Christian is also still alive in the postseason, playing a 4:30 p.m. game Friday at either Charles Wright or Curtis.
Fastpitch
The Seamount League regular season concludes with four games starting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Kennedy Cathoic visits Evergreen for a 3:30 p.m. game as Foster hosts Renton, Highline entertains Lindbergh and Tyee travels to Hazen.
The Metro League tournament concludes Friday with both West Seattle and Chief Sealth assured of no worse than a sixth place finish.
The championship game takes place at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Athletic Complex following the game for third and fourth at 5 p.m.
Southeast Athletic Complex is the site of the game for fifth and sixth place at 5 p.m.
Kennedy Catholic visits Seattle Christian for a 4 p.m. non-league game Thursday and Foster travels to Sammamish at 4:30 p.m.
JFK goes to Issaquah for 4:30 p.m. action Tuesday to tune up for May 22-23 West Central District action.
Boys soccer
Mount Rainier will travel to Curtis High School in University Place Thursday for an 8 p.m. South Puget Sound League playoff against Tuesday's Thomas Jefferson vs. Spanaway Lake winner.
The Rams won the SPSL North Division title with an 8-4-1 record.
Seamount League teams enter West Central District action the same day.
Foster plays a 5 p.m. game against Port Angeles at Franklin Pierce in Class 2A action and Tyee is on the road at North Kitsap at 7 p.m.
Kennedy Catholic goes to the Kiggins Bowl in Vancouver for a 5 p.m. Class 3A match.
The tournament will continue Saturday, with the Lancers playing at either 4 p.m. or 2 p.m. at Highline Memorial Stadium.
Track and field
Seamount League sub-district action takes place at Sunset Chevrolet Stadium in Sumner this week.
Class 2A action starts at 3:30 p.m. Thursday with the 3A starting at the same time Friday.
Finals for both are Saturday, with the 3A starting at 9 a.m. and the 2A at 10 a.m.
Fife High School hosts the 1A Nisqually League championships at 3:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Tennis
Seamount League tournament play runs Thursday through Saturday this week at a site and time to be announced.
Pros and college
Mariners
Seattle plays the San Diego Padres in a 7:10 p.m. game Wednesday at Safeco Field before the Boston Red Sox come to town for games at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The Mariners then open a series in Baltimore with a 4:05 p.m. game Tuesday.
All Seattle games can be seen on the ROOT Sports cable network.
Sounders
Seattle visits the Vancouver Whitecaps for 4 p.m. action Saturday that can be seen on Q13 Fox Sports.
Rainiers
Tacoma is at home at Cheney Stadium playing Salt Lake City at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Las Vegas invades for 5:05 p.m. action Saturday, 1:35 p.m. action Sunday, a 6:05 p.m. game Monday and an 11:35 a.m. game Tuesday.
Husky softball
The University of Washington will be involved in the Tuscaloosa Regional this weekend starting with a 10:30 a.m. Friday game against Upstate that can be seen on ESPNU.
