Football
Chief Sealth hosts Ballard for 7 p.m. action at the Southwest Athletic Complex this Friday as West Seattle goes on the road to the Southeast Athletic Complex to play Rainier Beach.
Highline Memorial Stadium will be the site of a football double-header the same night, with Highline and Kennedy playing at 5 p.m. and Evergreen and Renton going at it at 8 p.m.
Foster is at home against Hazen at 7 p.m.
Saturday's schedule has Seattle Lutheran going to Marysville-Pilchuck to play Tulalip at 1 p.m. and Mount Rainier traveling to Federal Way Memorial to play Todd Beamer at 6 p.m.
Volleyball
Seattle Christian hosts Klahowya for a 6 p.m. match on Wednesday and at 7 p.m. West Seattle is at Liberty and Chief Sealth at Rainier Beach.
Shorewood Christian goes to Quilcene at 5 p.m. Thursday and Seattle Lutheran hosts Auburn Adventist at 6:30 p.m.
The 7 p.m. Seamount schedule has Foster at Evergreen, Renton at Tyee, Kennedy at Lindbergh and Highline at Hazen, while Mount Rainier goes to Kentlake at 7:15 p.m.
Seattle Christian entertains Tyee at 6 p.m. Friday and Monday's schedule has SCS at Vashon at 5:45 p.m., Garfield at Chief Sealth and West Seattle at Ingraham at 7 p.m. and Mount Rainier at Decatur at 7:15 p.m.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday Tyee is at Kennedy, Evergreen at Highline and Lindbergh at Foster and Shorewood Christian hosts Puget Sound Adventist at 6 p.m.
Girls soccer
Thursday has a full schedule this week, starting with Seattle Lutheran visiting Evergreen Lutheran at 3 p.m.
West Seattle hosts Garfield and Mount Rainier visits Todd Beamer at 3:30 p.m. and Chief Sealth is at home against Eastside Catholic and Seattle Christian at Bellevue Christian at 4 p.m.
Kennedy is at home at Starfire playing Lindbergh at 6 p.m. that day as Tyee travels to Renton, and at 7:30 p.m. Evergreen is at Foster and Hazen at Highline.
Tyee visits Sammamish at 7:30 p.m. Friday,
Tuesday is also loaded with action.
Kennedy plays Tyee at 3:30 p.m. at Valley Ridge and at 4 p.m. Chief Sealth is at Nathan Hale and Seattle Lutheran at Mount Rainier Lutheran.
Highline visits Evergreen at 5:30 p.m. as Foster travels to Lindbergh, then at 6 p.m. Kennedy hosts Burlington-Edison and Seattle Christian travels to Vashon.
West Seattle goes to Bainbridge for 7 p.m. action that day and Mount Rainier hosts Tahoma at 7:30 p.m.
Boys soccer
Shorewood Christian visits Puget Sound Lutheran at 4 p.m. Thursday and drops in on Mount Rainier Lutheran at 4 p.m. Monday.
Boys tennis
Highline hosts Lindbergh at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday as Foster entertains Renton, with Mount Rainier going to Kentwood at the same time Thursday.
Kennedy is at Foster and Highline at home against Renton at the same time Friday and Mount Rainier visits Highline on Monday.
Mount Rainier entertains Kent-Meridian at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Cross country
Mount Rainier visits Federal Way Wednesday, with the girls running at 4:30 p.m. and the boys at 5 p.m.
West Seattle is home at Lincoln Park at 3:40 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. Thursday and Shorewood Christian is at Auburn Adventist for 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. action.
Foster hosts Tyee, Renton and Lindbergh at 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday at SeaTac Park and Evergreen entertains Highline, Kennedy and Hazen.
At 10 a.m. Saturday the West Seattle team is at the Bellevue Invitational and Mount Rainier at the Nike Portland Invitational.
Golf
Chief Sealth and Ballard meet for a 3 p.m. match on the West Seattle course Wednesday.
Foster drops in on Renton/Lindbergh at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, then Kennedy is at home against Hazen at Glenacres at 3:15 p.m.
The Mount Rainier boys host Kentwood at the same time at Riverbend as the girls travel to Kentwood.
Chief Sealth plays Blanchet at 3 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Park and West Seattle is at Eastside Catholic.
West Seattle hosts Nathan Hale at 4 p.m. Monday and at 3 p.m. Tuesday Chief Sealth is at Jefferson Park playing Cleveland.
Kennedy visits Evergreen/Highline/Tyee at the same time at the Rainier Golf and Country Club and at 3:15 p.m. the Mount Rainier boys hosts Kentlake and the girls go to Kentlake.
Girls swimming
Kennedy visits Evergreen/Highline/Tyee at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Evergreen pool as Foster hosts Renton and Mount Rainier travels to Kentridge.
Chief Sealth and West Seattle meet Eastside Catholic at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Southwest Athletic Complex pool and Mount Rainier hosts Thomas Jefferson at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Seahawks
Seattle gets a 1:25 p.m. visit from the Chicago Bears at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.
The action will be shown on Channel 7 TV with radio coverage on 710 AM.
Mariners
Seattle is in Kansas City playing the Royals at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday before going to Anaheim to take on the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05 p.m. Friday, 6:05 p.m. Saturday and 12:35 p.m. Sunday.
The Mariners come home to Safeco Field to play the Houston Astros at 7:10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Seattle games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television and heard on 710 AM.
Sounders
Seattle entertains the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7 p.m. Wednesday at CenturyLink before visiting Kansas City at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday's game can be seen on JOEtv and Sunday's on ESPN.

The Auburn horse racing track is open at 6:45 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Huskies
The University of Washington football team hosts California for a 2 p.m. game Saturday that can be seen on the Pac-12 cable network and heard on 1000 AM.
Cougars
Washington State University has a bye for this week before visiting California Oct. 3.
