Born July 24, 1962, in Seattle, Washington, Dale Rees, 53, of Burien, Washington, passed away September 6, 2015.

Dale grew up in Burien, graduated from Mt. Rainier High School and received degrees from Green River College. He was baptized at Glendale Lutheran Church in 1966.

He worked with an environmental cleanup company dealing with oil spills.

Dale had a passion for poetry, enjoyed composing poems, and playing the guitar and harmonica with friends. In his younger years, he was a member of the West Seattle Teen Twirlers club and traveled to California for square dancing conventions. He loved spending time outdoors.

Dale is survived by his mother, Wanda Mongar, and an older brother and sister.

A private memorial will be held.
